Dear Family and Friends,
or as Sita would cheer “Black Lives Matter and I Love You!”

Sita was a 4 year old child at Maple Street who passed away tragically in 2019. We honor her legacy with more joy, more love and more access to our community at Maple Street School. Just after we launched the Annual Sita Scholarship, the Covid 19 Pandemic hit.

The Annual Sita Scholarship Fund fund was created in Sita’s memory: how she danced with joy, how she laughed with her friends, how she played with everyone, how she painted her face with creativity and silliness, how she made Valentines for all, how she loved her big brother August and her family, and how she was a part of each of us in so many ways. We love her and miss her so much.

We hope we can create a long-term scholarship in her name for Black and Brown Girls whose families cannot afford the full cost of Maple Street Tuition

We are asking you to join our circle of love for Sita and her family. Please donate to begin this scholarship dedicated to the love and memory of Sita. These funds will be separate from Little Friends and be a special scholarship in memory of Sita.

 With memories and love,

— Nirvani, Eddie, August and the Maple Street School Family
